We are looking for a Community Coordinator with an interest in design to assist with running the office, helping to grow and maintain our community, identify needs and support project administration as required. This is a voluntary role with great opportunity to gain experience in program design.
As Community Coordinator you will play a key role in a range of essential office support activities: identifying, establishing, and maintaining networks, connections, and opportunities on behalf of Office of Displaced Designers; assisting in providing an organized and professional environment to program participants; and supporting the administration, monitoring and evaluation of office programs.
You will work directly with the office co-founder and program director. The minimum time commitment is 6 weeks with an average of 30- 40 hours per week depending on office needs.
Act as a point of contact for program participants in the office
Assist with developing and delivering community outreach and engagement strategies
Identify program opportunities based on community needs and support program design and delivery
Research and identify existing networks, groups, individuals and organizations relevant to ODD
Maintain contacts database
Assist with promoting ODD programs
Provide administrative support for ODD programs as needed
Completed 2 years university level coursework or similar OR have equivalent work experience
Confident English speaker
Relevant experience in communications, community organizing, and office management
You must be comfortable working both independently and in a group
You will need an empathetic outlook and you must be reliable
Lesvos based individuals and those with Greek fluency are highly encouraged to apply.
