Shareen Elnaschie/ Co-founder - UK Shareen is an architectural + urban designer and action researcher. She has extensive experience working with marginalised communities on participatory mapping and planning projects. She has also previously tutored architecture and spatial design at postgraduate and foundation level. Shareen holds an MSc in International Cooperation: Sustainable Emergency Architecture from Universitat Internacional de Catalunya and a BA(Hons) Architecture (RIBA I) from London Metropolitan University.

Artemis Kyristi/ Design Project Volunteer -Greece Artemis is an interior designer whose most recent studies focused on creating channels of communication amongst refugees, migrants, and locals on Lesvos through spatial structuring and design. She holds an MA in interior architecture from Edinburgh University and a BA(Hons) in interior architecture from AKTO College in Thessaloniki.

Elli Yiannakaris/ Mentor - South Africa Elli is the director of the Raymond Ackerman Academy (RAA), a program that affords youth from under-resourced backgrounds an opportunity to pursue tertiary studies and a career in entrepreneurship.  Elli holds an honours in Business Science from the University of Cape Town (UCT) and is currently enrolled for a Masters in Commerce at UCT in the field of youth entrepreneurship.

He has previously worked as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sheffield and has held visiting  positions at Harvard University, the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (Austria) and Ritsumeikan University (Japan).   His most recent published work is ‘The Human Atlas of Europe: a continent united in diversity’ (2017,  Policy Press, co-authored with Danny Dorling and Benjamin Hennig).
