Refugee Entrepreneur Fund [2023]
In collaboration with Oyoun Berlin and Haus der Wandel, ODD supported five initiatives led by individuals displaced to Greece through seed funding and consultancy:
Manhal’s Refugee Radio Program sharing real life stories of challenges and useful information from people seeking safety in Greece.
Behsolo’s hair styling supply store- a small family-run business trying to find it’s feet.
Iman’s Boat Refugee Art Project- a community space for art, music and theatre in the Kypseli neighbourhood.
Ahmad representing Khaya Homemade Products, a selection of artisanal products handmade by a permaculture collective in Akrata.
Yvonne- a community organiser helping to support women-led micro-businesses.
